Beyond Academics

Students are encouraged to participate in various in co-curricular as well as sports activities organized by other schools at local, zonal and state levels.

Various workshops are organized by expert resource persons to provide information to the students regarding various career avenues available to them after completing school education. The school has appointed counselor to take care of students’ emotional well-being. The students are helped to overcome any trauma that hampers the academic excellence as well as all round growth.

To develop societal concerns the school organizes visits to Old age Homes cancer hospitals and orphanages and organizes various activities such as Health Check-up camps, Eye Check-up camps, Blood Donation camps, etc. A charitable Homeopathic Dispensary in the neighborhood is also being run by the school. Various fetes, fairs, etc., are also organized during Deepawali, Christmas, etc. to educate the pupils about the festivals or occasions.

To develop academic excellence, the school organizes various literary and academic activities. Talks by eminent citizens, conferences, seminars, Meet the Author, Scientists, Artists and Artisans etc., are also arranged from time to time. The school lays emphasis in imparting qualities of head and heart among the students. We believe in the ultimate goal of education, i.e. "to make complete human beings."

To enhance the professional skills of teachers, the school regularly organizes In Service Teacher’s Training Programme in the school. The teachers are regularly sent to other institutions also to attend such programmes. The focus of such training sessions is to upgrade their existing knowledge and to improve and strengthen them in the current educational scenario.

To inculcate national concerns the school celebrates important national days and other days like Environment Day, Teachers’
Day, World Sight Day, etc., by organizing special events during the morning assembly.
