The student's academics and general progress is rated in two-term ending exams, the Summative Assessment tests and periodic Formative Assessment tests in a year. Promotion is based on a comprehensive cumulative evaluation (CCE).
All students have to maintain a minimum of 75%, attendance including medical leave, to qualify for the promotion.
Exemption is granted on the grounds of ill health on submission of a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
The results of the tests are made available to the Parents/ Guardians through Report Cards which have to be signed by them and returned to the Class Teacher.
